About Our CSA

CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture” and is one of the best ways to support your local farmers and enjoy seasonal, local food. A CSA is a reciprocal partnership between a local farm and its community. At Common Roots Farm, CSA members become active participants in our local food system by investing in a "share" while providing opportunities for farmers living with developmental disabilities to grow their skills, too.

What Do I Get?

  • A weekly share of our most popular cut flowers, strawberries, and raspberries. Depending on the season, you can also expect to receive sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes, or beans.

  • A weekly newsletter filled with photos from the farm, interviews of our farmers, recipes, and cooking tips for the produce.

  • A chance to directly support your local farmers

  • Farm tour and a chance to meet your farmers by invitation only for CSA members - date to be announced

Your Weekly Share

Our 2024 Berries & Blooms CSA season goes from April 23 to September 28 (24 weeks).

Your total share value each week is $20.

Our cherry tomatoes, shishito peppers, and beans will be making an appearance during their specific season. We pick specialty cherry tomato varieties and are excited to grow ‘Green Bee,’ ‘Sungold,’ ‘Magic Bullet,’ and ‘Red Torch’ this year. ‘Green Bee’ has been making waves among chefs and you can find it featured in menus of farm-to-table restaurants. Yum!

We are growing our production skills alongside farmers of all abilities. If there is an abundance of a crop on the farm, we will include a little extra for you. If there is a mishap and things don’t go quite as planned, we will make sure you still get your promised value from your box.
